These chicks are hatched from a mixed group of hens running under an Ameraucana rooster, resulting in Easter Egger–type chicks known for their friendly nature and colorful eggs.
Because the hens in this group are not all Easter Eggers, feather color, adult appearance, and egg shade will vary, making each chick a fun surprise as they grow. Once mature, hens can lay a range of colorful eggs, including shades of blue, green, olive, and pink-tinted eggs.
Easter Eggers are hardy, adaptable birds that do well in a variety of backyard and homestead settings, making them a great option for both beginners and experienced chicken keepers.
