Silkie × Marans Roo – Gentle & Unique

This handsome fall-hatched boy has striking silver hackles, a deep mahogany chest, and a glossy black tail. Feathered legs add to his unique look and barnyard charm.
He’s been a bit shy but has shown no aggression — calm when picked up and respectful in the pen. Would make a nice addition to a backyard flock where a gentler temperament is preferred.
He carries Silkie genetics and could be paired with a Silkie or Silkie-mix hen to produce satin or Silkie-type offspring. Fun option for someone interested in a small breeding project.
